Warby Parker, a popular online eyeglasses retailer, is opening its first brick-and-mortar location in Virginia on Nov. 19 at Tysons Corner Center mall.
The Tysons shop will be one of the latest in the company’s expansion from the internet to 40 retail locations around the United States.
In the summer of 2015, Warby Parker opened a temporary shop to test the market’s waters as part of the Nordstrom program Pop-In@Nordstrom.
Inside the new store, the design is meant to resemble a classic library -- appropriately studious for eyeglass-vending -- and features a mural of original illustrations by New Yorker contributor and independent author Maira Kalman.
Tysons is located at 8013 Tysons Corner Center, Tysons Corner.
