On Friday, Oct. 5, the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia will hold the 2018 Raise the Region Gala at the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner. The event will be co-hosted by Todd Stottlemyer and Bobbie and Bill Kilberg.
Seven hundred business leaders, philanthropists, and community organizers participate in the Raise the Region Gala every year to celebrate the charitable work of the Community Foundation and to raise funds to support the critical needs of the Northern Virginia community. This year’s event will also celebrate and honor the 40th anniversary of the Community Foundation.
Ellen and Jim Dyke will be recognized by the Community Foundation at the gala for their history of community leadership and public service with the 2018 Community Leadership Award. The award is presented annually for outstanding commitment and dedication to improving the quality of life for all Northern Virginians.
The gala will feature a cocktail reception and silent auction followed by dinner, live auction and award presentation. Dress is black tie attire.
