This school year marks the 65th anniversary of the founding of Cub Scout Pack 673, which meets regularly at Great Falls Elementary School. We are planning to celebrate this milestone at our annual Blue and Gold Dinner on Feb. 21. In preparation for this, we are reaching out to find former Pack 673 cub scouts and leaders that may have photos, memorabilia, recollections, or any other information about the Pack and its history that they may wish to share.
We are especially interested in finding out about the history of the pack prior to the year 2000, about which we have very little information. We know that the pack has been chartered by Christ the King Lutheran Church since the early 1980s, but recently learned that it was originally chartered — by the Great Falls Elementary PTA, we believe — in 1953.
