Event on Alexandria’s Age-Friendly Strategic Plan

The Alexandria Commission on Aging and the Division of Aging & Adult Services are working together to update the City’s Age-Friendly Strategic Plan. This critical update will be presented to the City Council and once approved, will guide future funding and services for Alexandria’s older adult population.
We are reaching out to the older adult community to get your ideas for improving city services and policies. The draft plan will be presented by the Commission on Aging and City staff on Friday, Jan. 17 at 10 a.m. at the Lee Center’s Exhibition Hall (lower Level), 1108 Jefferson Street in Alexandria.
